Giant Magnetoresistance effect and magnetization reversal in Ni81Fe19/Cu/Ni81Fe19 tri-layered ring

Description

Magnetoresistance for a tri-layered Ni81Fe19/Cu/Ni81Fe19 nanoring with wires attached to the ring edges has been investigated. The magnetic domain in the tri-layered ring is well defined due to the GMR effect caused by tri-layered structure. Magnetization reversal is controllable in case that a magnetic field is applied along the wire axis, indicating the present system is promising for an electron interferometer
