Failure of a proposed energy-independent parametrization of panti p multiplicity distributions
Description
By introducing suitable multiplicity moments and comparing with data we cast doubt on the modified negative binomial distribution with a constant shape parameter that was recently proposed by Hwa and Lam as a description of multiplicity distributions in panti p collisions. (orig.)
