Description
We investigate the twist-3 pion and kaon distribution amplitudes of the pseudoscalar (φπ,Kp) and pseudotensor (φπ,Kσ) types, based on the effective chiral action from the instanton vacuum. Flavor SU(3) symmetry breaking effects are explicitly taken into account. The Gegenbauer moments and the moments of the distribution amplitudes (<ξm>) are also computed. Our results are summarized as follows: a2,πp∼0.4, a1,Kp∼0.02 and a2,Kp∼0.14, and a2,πσ∼0.02 and a1,Kσ∼a2,Kσ∼0; <ξ2>πp∼<ξ2>Kp∼0.37 and <ξ>Kp∼0, and <ξ2>πσ∼<ξ2>Kσ∼0.20 and <ξ>Kσ∼0. We compare our results with those from the QCD sum rules. We also discuss the relevant Wilson coefficients which were analyzed recently in chiral perturbation theory
