Application of numerical methods to the analysis of the behaviour of reactor fuel rods under accident conditions

  • 1. Stuttgart Univ. (TH) (Germany, F.R.). Inst. fuer Kernenergetik und Energiesysteme

Description

Models have been developed to simulate reactor fuel rods under accident conditions. The models facilitate the prediction of the transient fuel rod behaviour in a temperature range from 200C to approximately 20000C. The models were verified by experiments and international comparison calculations. (author)
