Technical aspects of the IAEA safeguards

Description
Technical aspects are considered of the IAEA safeguard system which is one of the base elements in the nuclear weapon nonproliferation regime. The main criteria and procedures of such a system are described. Special attention is poid to the IAEA inspection activity, to safeguard technical methods and means. The system functioning efficiency is estimated. Data on the USSR participation in the scientific engineering development of the IAEA safeguards are given
