Report
(3He, 3He) and (3He, d) reactions on 28Si at 90 MeV

Description
Angular distributions of elastically scattered 3He particles from 28Si and deuterons from the reaction 28Si(3He, d)29P have been measured at a 3He energy of 90 MeV. The results of optical model analyses showed that only the shallow potential (V -- 100 MeV) with either surface or volume absorptive term can provide acceptable fits to the large angle elastic scattering data.
