Measurement of lifetime of 28Si level
- 1. Academic Sincia, Beijing (China). Inst. of Atomic Energy
Description
The lifetimes of levels of 28Si for 4.62, 6.89, 7.42, 7.80, 8.54, 8.94 and 10.4 MeV are measured by 27Al (p, γ) 28Si reaction and the Doppler shift attenuation method on the 2.5 MeV Van de Graaff accelerator in the Institute of Atomic Energy. According to Blaugrundd's theory, the programs for calculating the lifetimes of level of the nucleus are made. The lifetimes of the energy level are calculated by the numeral integral method. The results are quite satisfactory
