String from non-Abelian gauge field
Description
Halpern's model indicating the bridge between the string and two-dimensional Abelian gauge fields is extended to the four-dimensional non-Abelian gauge theory. It is shown that the colored electric flux behaves as a string and the Regge slope is characterized by the string thickness. (author)
