Description
In the heap leaching process of uranium ores some problems often occur, such as permeability declining and/or the blockage of penetrating holes, which are caused by muddled ores, expanded ores and the migration of fine particles. The permeation-promoters are added, which consist of different surfactants, to increase the permeability of fluid and the leaching efficiency. After several tests in hard-rock ores and muddy ores, it has been proved that the effect of permeation-promoter is remarkable. The priciple of permeation-promoter is discussed as well. (authors)
