The 1P shape resonance in electron-hydrogen scattering

Description

The shape resonance in the 1P channel in electron-hydrogen scattering which occurs just above the n = 2 threshold has been studied by variational calculations employing a pseudostate basis. Its parameters are Esub(R) = 0.7512 (Ry), GAMMA = 0.0015 (Ry). (orig.)
