Description
We report in this study demographic data, efficacy outcomes and toxicity rates in patients undergoing peptide receptor radionuclide therapy (PRRT) in four nuclear medicine services in Brazil. This retrospective study evaluated 164 patients with tumors with significant expression of somatostatin receptors (midgut (34.8%), pancreatic (24.4%), foregut (14.6%), among others) between 2007 and 2021. Our analysis showed complete or partial response in 51% of patients with complete follow-up, and a progression-free survival rate of 11.9 months. Taking into account the heterogeneity of the neoplasms involved, these results demonstrate the possibility of using PRRT in non-GEPNET tumors. (author)
