Cross-section measurements of capture reactions relevant to p-process nucleosynthesis⋆

Description
The nucleosynthetic p-process is briefly described from the experimental nuclear physics point of view followed by an introduction in the Hauser-Feshbach (HF) theory. The basic methods for measuring cross-sections of ( and ( reactions relevant to the nucleosynthetic p -process are described and commented. New cross-section data for four capture reactions on 91 Zr, 92 Zr, 127 I and 133 Cs are reported.
