Calibration of the isomer shift for 119Sn
Description
The isomer shift calibration constant for 119Sn is determined using the calculated electron contact densities for α-tin and for an isolated tin atom in the solid rare-gas matrix. The theoretical value of ΔR/R = 0.92 x 10-4 thus estimated is compared with the experimental values. (author)
