Optically pumped far infrared laser for plasma diagnostics
- 1. Nagoya University, Faculty of Engineering, Nagoya, Aichi (Japan)
Description
A CW FIR Laser pumped by a CO2 Laser is constructed. Eleven Oscillation lines are obtained in the range from 70 μm to 700 μm. Both CH3OH and HCOOH are used as operating gases. A Michelson-type interferometer is designed for density measurements of a linear turbulently heated plasma. (author)
