Methods for measuring moisture content in the coal and coke
Description
As a result of modern mining methods and the increase of fine coal recovery for economic reasons, there has been growing interest in measuring and controlling the moisture content of the coal and coke. In recent decades moisture determination of the coal and coke has been extensively investigated and applied worldwide. The methods for measuring moisture include nuclear and non-nuclear techniques. This paper introduces the basic principle and principal specification of various techniques for moisture determination and reviews advantage and disadvantage for various methods and also put forward the tendency at present
