IPP annual report 1985/86
Description
This annual report also is a review compiled on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Institute. A survey of tasks and activities of the IPP is followed by brief reports on the work in progress and on results achieved, dealing with the fundamentals of thermonuclear fusion, magnetic field configurations of the Tokamak device and stellarator device, and with the various components of a fusion experimental installation. Cooperative projects with other research institutes, the scientific infrastructure, the administrative organisation, services, and the activities of the management and of the scientific-technical office are other aspects forming part of the report. The organisational chart given is of November 1986. (GG)
Abstract (German)
Dieser zum 25-jaehrigen Bestehen des Institutes fuer Plasmaphysik entstandene Jahresbericht umreisst zunaechst die Aufgabe des IPP und fuehrt dann in die Grundlagen der Kernfusion, in die Magnetfeldkonfigurationen des Tokamak und des Stellarators sowie in die Komponenten der Fusionsexperimente ein. Der sich anschliessende Ergebnisbericht des IPP skizziert in tabellarischer Form die Arbeitsbereiche und wendet sich dann den Tokamaks, den Stellaratoren und den allg. Arbeiten zur Fusion zu. Umrissen werden die Zusammenarbeit mit anderen Institutionen, die wissenschaftliche Infrastruktur, der Aufbau der Verwaltung, der allg. Dienste, der Geschaeftsfuehrung und des wiss.-technischen Bueros. Ein Organigramm des IPP (Stand Nov.'86) beschliesst den Jahresbericht. (GG)
