Change of electron state density during low temperature structural transformation in BaMo6S8:nmr data
- 1. AN SSSR, Sverdlovsk (USSR). Inst. Fiziki Metallov
Description
Temperature dependences of magnetic susceptibility, Knight shift and rate of 95Mo nucleus spin-lattice relaxation in BaMo6S8 compound having Shevrel phase structure and undergoing structural transformation at the temperatures lower than indoor ones, are presented. Changes of magnetic susceptibility and NMR parameters point out to a sufficient decrease of state density at the Fermi level which may be connected with the occurrence of a gap near the Fermi energy in the course of structural transformation
