The basic features of the Chop-Leach-Purex process for irradiated fuel element are described. A detailed flow diagram illustrates the single stages of the Method and also gives some data on the composition of the feeding and product solutions. (RB)

Das Chop-Leach-Purexwiederaufarbeitungsverfahren fuer bestrahlte Brennelemente wird in seinen grundlegenden Zuegen beschrieben. Ein ausfuehrliches Flussdiagramm demonstriert die einzelnen Stadien des Verfahrens und gibt gleichzeitig einige Daten zur Zusammensetzung der Speise- und Produktloesungen wieder. (RB)
