Chou-Yang-Glauber-Velasco model and Kp elastic scattering

Description
It is shown that the Chou-Yang model is unable to describe Kp elastic scattering correctly. A modified version due to Glauber and Velasco is, however, successful for a specific choice of the parton-parton interaction anisotropy factor. The model views hadrons as clusters of partons and applies the Glauber technique to hadronic scattering. A new fit to the proton electric form factor consistent with the new SLAC data is used. Aspects of amplitude structure are described
