Description
Full text: In this paper, the effects of different preparation methods on the TL signal of ZrO2 sol gel samples are reported. A detailed study of the optical properties of the solid samples (emission and excitation spectra) in the 200-700 nm range was also performed, at room temperature, before and after UV irradiation at 360 nm. The experimental results are combined with previous observations, in order to get a better understanding of the effects of-the method of synthesis of this kind of materials, on their optical properties and TL response.
