Description
The bulk and gas displacement swelling of 10 to 30% tritiated Li(D, T) powder stored at 243 to 673 K has been measured. These increase in the same way as the corresponding values of the compacts previously reported. The powder swelling also shows the same temperature dependence as that of the compacts. The expected increase in grain size with time is not seen. Instead, a study of the sieve cuts shows that the grain sizes do not generally change over 1000 days. (orig.)
