Nonlinear effects during propagation of Langmuir large-amplitude plasma waves

Description

On the basis of kinetic theory equation, describing propagation of Langmuir large-amplitude waves in homogeneous nonmagnetic plasma, is derived. This equation allows for combined effect of electron, relativistic and striction nonlinearities. Possible existence of one-dimensional supersonic Langmuir solitons, though in narrower range of their velocities as against investigations disregarding electron nonlinearities, is shown
