Description

The author analyses the new situation, the scientific research of uranium geology is facing to in the new century, and proposes that the general policy of the future uranium exploration is: to conscientiously implement the strategy of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China; to accomplish the specific target and tasks proposed by CNNC; to make a new break through and achievements in metallogenic theory, in the exploration and utilization of traditional and untraditional mineral resources, and in the research field of coordinate development of mining industry and environmental protection. The author emphasizes the importance of the research on large-size metallogeny and the prediction of large ore-concentrated area. It also considers that it is necessary to strengthen the crossing and intersection of different geoscientific disciplines, and the scientific exchange; to win over a better policy surrounding and higher investment intensity; to train and bring up large numbers of young leading scholars in order to meet the challenge of the 21 century
