Crystal structure of cesium 1,2-cyclohexanediaminetetraacetatobismuthate(III) hemiundecahydrate

Description
A bismuth(III) complex featuring the composition CsBi(Cdta)·5.5H2O (Cdta - 1,2-cyclohexadiaminetetraacetate-ion) was synthesized and studied by the method of X-ray diffraction analysis. It was ascertained that the complex is crystallized in triclinic crystal system with the unit cell parameters as follows: a=13.5053(9), b=13.5734(9), c=14.712(1) S, α=71.145(2), β=75.085(2), γ=79. 030(1) Deg, space group P1-bar, Z=4. The structure is formed by two crystallographically independent complex anions [Bi(Cdta)]-, cations Cs+ and 11 crystallization water molecules. Close surrounding of Cs+ cations is made by oxygen atoms of Cdta ligands and crystallization water molecules, as well as carbon atoms
Abstract (Russian)
Синтезирован и исследован методом рентгеноструктурного анализа комплекс висмута(III) состава CsBi(Cdta)·5.5H2O (Cdta - 1,2-циклогександиаминтетраацетат-ион). Установлено, что комплекс кристаллизуется в триклинной сингонии с параметрами элементарной ячейки: a=13.5053(9), b=13.5734(9), c=14.712(1) S, α=71.145(2), β=75.085(2), γ=79. 030(1) град, пр. гр. P1-bar, Z=4. Структура образована из двух кристаллографически независимых комплексных анионов [Bi(Cdta)]-, катионов Cs+ и 11 молекул кристаллизационной воды. Ближайшее окружение катионов Cs+ составляют атомы кислорода лигандов Cdta и молекул кристаллизационной воды, а также атомы углеродаAdditional details
