Thermonuclear device
Description
Purpose: To improve the symmetric configuration in magnetic fields by providing resilient members between vertical magnetic field coils and pressing bolt to thereby unify the radial deformation and eliminate the deviation in the center axis of the coils. Constitution: Vertical magnetic field coils are retained by supports by way of liners and secured to a support plate. The coils are pressed by a pressing bolt by way of a cup-shaped spring to unify the entire deformation in the coils. This eliminates the deviation in the center axis of the coil and improves the symmetry of plasma-confining magnetic fields. (Yoshino, Y.)
