Positron-annihilation apparatus for layerwise analysis of defects in solids
Description
This paper describes a nondestructive method for determining the depth distribution of defects in solids. The method is based on separation of positrons of various energies from the continuous spectrum of a radioactive source with the aid of a magnetic beta spectrometer. The efficiency of the proposed method is confirmed with a specimen composed of deformed copper foil and a substrate of annealed copper. The results of the experiment are shown
