Calculation comparisons between BILBO and INCA codes. Example of a hollow cone frustum under axial load

Description
We compare various options of the computer codes INCA and BILBO on a simple geometry. For linear elasticity we compare the shell elements to the 3-D elements implemented in BILBO, and the beam elements to the 2-D elements implemented in INCA. We then ship to the large displacement and elasto-plastic assumptions. (author)
Abstract (French)
Nous comparons differentes options des codes INCA et BILBO de calcul des structures sur une geometrie simple: un tronc de cone creux soumis a un chargement vertical. En elasticite lineaire, nous comparons les elements coques et les elements massifs de BILBO aux elements poutres et aux elements Q8 de INCA. Nous passons ensuite aux grands deplacements et a l'elastoplastique. (auteur)Files
