Study of Skuri deposit dolomite for production of high refractory composites

Description
Detailed study of Skuri deposit dolomite samples was performed by the use of chemical, thermographic, microstructure and X-ray diffraction analysis methods. It was proved that Skuri deposit dolomite is a high grade raw material for obtaining high refractory dolomiteserpentine clinker. It is characterized by homogeneousness, belongs to the first class dolomites and its lime-magnesia module index (1.63) is much higher than the theoretical one (1.39). (author)
