Gaseous tracker for high energy experiment. TPC
Description
TPC has been proposed as a gaseous tracking device of ILD detector in ILC experiment. Here we discuss about advantages of TPC and remaining issues to be solved for the future experiment. Though ions are inevitable problem for gaseous detector, newly developed gate device having a large aperture would fix the problem without degradation of the performance. The module has been developed and tested by many groups among the international LC-TPC collaboration which initiates TPC design/production for LC experiment. (author)
