Analysis of transuranium radionuclide alpha spectra obtained by means of thick homogeneous sources

Description

The processing method for alpha spectra obtained when recording alpha radiation from thick homogeneous sources containing transuranium radionuclides is suggested. The application of the given method, in particular, for spectrometry by means of submerged semiconductor detectors permits to determine relative alpha decay radioisotope activity by their known specific volume alpha activity. The method described can be applied for alpha spectrometric analyses of liquid media containing transuranium radionuclides
