Thermoemf of Bi2Te3 and InxBi2-xTe3 at pressures of up to 20 GPa

Description
Resistance and thermoemf of monocrystalline samples Bi2Te3 of p-type at pressures up to 20 GPa are investigated. Besides pressure effect to 20 GPa on the resistance and thermoemf of monocrystals of solid solutions InxBi2-xTe3 (x=0.065) of p-type with initial hole concentration of 3x1017 cm-3 is investigated. It is established that at some cycles of pressure variation the thermoemf changes the sign and remains negative magnitude. The fact testifies to irreversible variations of the current carrier concentration in samples
