Reinterpretation of logging results in North-East Moravia

Creators

  • 1. Geologicky Pruzkum, Ostrava (Czechoslovakia)

Description

Qualitative assessment of logging curves obtained over a period of 25 years showed that re-evaluation of the material collected in the said period was not purposeful in view of the fact that it was outdated technically and methodically. The re-evaluation, however, showed ways to improved interpretation efforts, such as the consistent introduction of acoustic logging, neutron logging, etc. The assessment of anomalies in the logging curves showed that even if modern instrumentation and interpretation procedures are used the requirement for taking test samples and their laboratory measurements for logging purposes is necessary.
