Experimental verification of a dynamic hysteresis model

Creators

Description

The parameters of the analytical Preisach distribution function and nonlinear scaling function for relaxing the congruency property of the classical Preisach model are determined based on measurements on toroidal samples. The parameters of the dynamic model are fitted to accurately reproduce symmetric dynamic loops in a certain range of saturation levels and frequencies. Then the model is applied in the simulation of the switching off process of a pulse transformer and the numerical results compared to the measured ones
