Covariances in deconvolution of multichannel spectra
Description
This paper discusses some aspects of the deconvolution and regularization procedures within the least squares method (LSM), taking into account, in every step, the covariance matrices. If the covariance matrices are taken into account, the obtained results are unbiased, the artifacts can be understood, and the goodness-of-fit can be test by the usual chi-square test. (author)
