A revised equation relating tissue-air ratio to per cent depth dose
Description
The accepted relation between tissue-air ratio and per cent depth-dose for photon beams generated at potentials above 400 kV is examined in relation to attentuation factor values for 137Cs and 60Co beams. A revised equation is derived to account for inconsistencies. (U.K.)
