Thermodynamics of a superconductor with singularities on the Fermi surface

Description
Paper studies the problem linked with the effect of singularities within the energy spectrum of charge carriers resulting in singularities within the density of the states on the thermodynamic parameters of a superconductor. The expressions for temperature of transitions, slit, jump of heat capacity and critical thermodynamic magnet field within the vicinity of transition point are obtained. Variation of temperature behaviour of some factors at transition from a logarithmic to the degree singularity within the density of the states is detected. The experimental data on the heat capacity jump in HTSC are discussed in terms of the considered model. 21 refs
