Possibility of designing a thermonuclear reactor with a dense plasma, confined by a corrugated magnetic field
- 1. Inst. of Nuclear Physics, Novosibirsk, USSR
Description
Longitudinal and transverse confinement in a corrugated magnetic system is described. Plasma heating by relativistic electron beams is mentioned. A hypothetical thermonuclear reactor using these concepts is briefly described. (U.S.)
