Neutronic data, methods and codes to be used in future LMFBR [liquid metal fast breeder reactor] design and analysis in Europe, are being unified. The paper gives an overview of the unified system, a synthesis of the major technical options that have been agreed and the status of the new developments, which have been necessary for that purpose
