Elimination of iron interference during kinetic determination of rhodium, ruthenium and iridium

Description
A method is proposed of the separation of 0.005-1.25 Mg Rh, Ru and Ir from 107-fold iron excess followed by kinetic determination of the platinum group metals (PGV). No losses of trace PGM were found. The RSD values are less than 18% (Rh), 7% (Ru) and 12% (Ir) at levels 0.1-1.25 g/ton Rh and 0.01-1.0 g/ton Ru and Ir
