The intermediate coupling coefficients of the first excited configuration of the rare-gas atoms
Description
The intermediate coupling coefficients in the first excited np5(n+1)s configuration of the rare gases (Ne,Ar,Kr and Xe) have been determined by considering the first order perturbation theory of spin-orbit interaction, direct diagonalization of energy matrix and lifetimes of the excited 3P1 and 1P1 states.
