''Prospect-1'' computer code for reconstruction of nuclear reactor neutron spectra

Description

The ''Prospect-1'' computer code is described. It is intended for reconstruction of nuclear reactor neutron spectra in the range of 0.5 to 18 MeV. The code is standardized for the all-union usage. The code structure presents a set of functionally independent computer blocks and isolated blocks, arranged in the form of libraries, of apriori numerical data on the cross sections of activation reactions in nuclear-physical facility spectra. This structure of the code ensures correcting of the initial data in the process of computation, estimation of intermediate results on the base of quality criteria, storage of apriori-, experimental- and intermediate data with the use of magnetic media, independent and multiple use of each basic code block, simplification of the input data form. Besides, the code contains means for diagnostics of possible errors in the initial data setting. The code is based on the EC computer type and is written in PL/1. The counting rate, when operating with the EC-1033 computer, makes up 6 to 12 min
