Description
This is a report on a double-blind study with two contrast media by means of sequential CAT scanning of the abdomen in series. The two contrast media, ionic Rayvist and non-ionic Jopromid, are very well tolerable. Severe reactions are altogether rare for both contrast media. Tolerance of the non-ionic one did seem to be slightly better. The results suggest good tolerance of high doses of contrast medium for the single bolar intravenous applications. The functional behaviour of both contrast media is approximately equal. Contrasting is slightly better with Jopromid, especially as regards the kidneys and vessels. (orig.)
Abstract (German)
Applikation in Bolusform. (orig.)Additional details
