The isotope ratio 12C/13C in Comet 1973 XII Kohoutek
Description
Comparing the intensity of the 12C13C (1-0) band head with those of the 12C12C (1-0) and (2-0) band heads, we derive the isotope ratio 12C/13C as 95+-40. This value is essentially the same as those of Comet 1963 I Ikeya and Comet 1969 IX Tago-Sato-Kosaka, and is in good agreement with those observed in other objects of the solar system. (author)
