Description

We have examined the field ionization spectra of several different n states (30 ≤n ≤ 45) for cold Rb atoms at a long time delay after laser excitation to the Rydberg states. The results are discussed from the point of view of black body radiation effect and inelastic Rydberg-electron collisional effects. (author)
