Lessons Learnt in Migrating from ANADATA to opt-OUR Reactor Operations Database System

Description

Nuclear Power Divisionthrough Technology Assessment, Engineering and Reactor Safety Section (TES) in collaboration with the Operations and Maintenance Section (O and M) has taken the initiative to create a comprehensive improvement of the reactor operating system: ANADATA. This improvement is an initiative to TES and O and M in reducing calculation errors which significantlyaffecting the effectiveness and efficiency of the reactor operators task in the reactor operating reports generated using ANADATA.This paper briefly presents the state of the art of the new reactor operations system: Opt-OUR. Relevant issues are discussed in section 2, including the goal of the system and the additional improvement contents from the old system: ANADATA. Section 3, focuses on the lessons learned in both development and migrating processes. The conclusions are presented in Section 4. (author)
