Description
Developments to the Diamentor for measuring the area exposure product (R cm2) in patients receiving diagnostic x-rays are described. These include 1) the facility to calibrate each chamber separately, 2) an accessory which prints the hospital's name, the patient identification number, data and time, the R cm2 and the screening time on adhesive stickers and 3) the addition of a computer to the Diamentor with a video display, a printer and a floppy-disc station.
