B2.1028 + 31: a possible association of a quasar with a group of galaxies

Description

The radio source B2.1028 + 31 is identified with a quasar of redshift z = 0,177, surrounded by some galaxies in a group. Radio structure and colours of the quasar are given. Photoelectric colours of one of the galaxies indicate that the quasar is at the same distance as the group. (orig.)

Abstract (German)

Die kosmische Strahlenquelle B2.1028 + 31 wird mit einem Quasar der Rotverschiebung z = 0,177 identifiziert, das von einer Gruppe von Galaxien umgeben ist. Radiostruktur und Farben des Quasars werden angegeben. Die photoelektrischen Farben einer der Galaxien weisen darauf hin, dass das Quasar sich in der gleichen Entfernung befindet wie die Gruppe.
