Review was given of reports presented at International conference on exchange of scientific information about reasons and consequences of three large radiation accidents connected with production and utilization of atomic energy. The following accidents connected with production and utilization of atomic energy. The following accidents were discussed: in England in the vicinity of Windskale in 1957, in South Urals in the region of town Kashtym in 1957 and in the Ukraine in Chernobyl in 1986 22 reports were presented. 10 reports were devoted to the technical problems, 12 - medicobiological, psychological, social and philosophic problems of radiation accident
