Description
Instrumental Neutron Activation Analysis (INAA) is one of the major techniques for the determination of many minor and trace elements in a large variety of solid environmental and pollution samples. This paper presents the analysis of Respirable Suspended Particulate Matter (RSPM) of two size fractions, Coarse (2.5-10 μm) and fine (<2.5 μm) and elemental analysis of particulate matter using Instrumental Neutron Activation Analysis (INAA). The study area is situated in Navi Mumbai at 73 deg East longitude and 20 deg North latitude. The impact of industrial growth as well as vehicular emission in the above residential area is studied.
