Neutron scattering in Ce nuclei and neutron vs proton excitation strengths in 2+ and 3- levels

Description
Differential elastic and inelastic scattering cross sections have been measured for neutron scattering from 140Ce and 142Ce at 7.5 MeV incident neutron energy. These data have been combined with total cross sections measured earlier, and all of the data have been interpreted using both a spherical, or single channel, optical model and with coupled channels models
